It is conducted by the author of The Mechanical Design Process, a text published by McGraw Hill and in its 4th edition. This book is used at most top universities world wide to show how to structure best-practices into processes that lead to quality, cost effective products. He has also benchmarked design process best-practices for Autodesk and Siemens. He is knowledgeable about not only hardware development best practices, but also software development, and has used and taught them both.
