Entry level and middle-management sales and
operations executives often lack an appreciation of the financial
dynamics of the firm. Such understanding allows a "big picture"
approach to one's everyday job and provides an appreciation of
how their work relates to the future of the company.
To help employees such insight, Wolf Management
Consultants has created a one-day seminar/workshop that presents
the basics of finance. Participants will:
- Gain an understanding of the basic financial statements such
as the income statement, the balance sheet and the cash flow
statement so they will understand how their performance impacts
company's success. Seminar participant will see what goes into
each statement and learn how to construct such statements.
- Develop an understanding of the basics of risk and the fundamentals
of financial analysis such as ratio analysis.
- Learn to construct sales projections, production and budgets
- Obtain knowledge about the time value of money and understand
the basics of present value.
This day-long immersion into the basics of
finance will enable employees to work smarter and be more productive
by gaining an appreciation of what goes into the "bottom line."
