SIMON VETTER

Simon Vetter advises individuals and organizations to help them grow their business through personal brand building and leadership effectiveness.

A native of Switzerland, Simon has 18 years of experience in marketing, sales, and leadership development in Europe as well as the United States.

His clients engage him because they want more focus, direction, fun and money. He assists individuals in changing behaviors, increasing performance, attracting clients, and manifesting revenue while enjoying work and living a balanced life.

Simon’s corporate background includes a marketing management position for an international service organization headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. Throughout Europe, he managed, designed and marketed conferences with leading business experts, including Peter Drucker, Prof. Michael Porter, Gary Hamel, and Prof. Philip Kotler. In 1997 he moved to San Diego and worked as a sales producer, trainer, and consultant for a multinational training organization. In this position, he trained managers in leadership, communication, presentation, sales, and teambuilding.

Over the course of his career, Simon has worked with executives and coached leaders from 3M, Acushnet, Berlex Laboratories, Bertelsmann, CalPERS, Cendant, DaimlerChrysler, Lufthansa, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, RE/MAX International, San Diego World Trade Center, Siemens, and others.

Simon Vetter is the author of STAND OUT! Branding Strategies for Business Professionals. Over the last four years, Simon has extensively studied the impact of decreasing job security in organizations. He now offers practical solutions on advancing one’s career and finding personal fulfillment at work, while securing a satisfactory income in the long-term. Simon often presents at conferences and in organizations about Stand Out Strategies and Brand Leadership.

Simon has an MBA-equivalent degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Berne, Switzerland. He is on the board of directors of the San Diego World Trade Center, was a former board member of the ASTD San Diego and is a passionate Toastmaster. He is fluent in English, German (native language) and French. Simon now lives in San Diego, California and travels frequently to Europe.
