Areas of Expertise
1. Global Leadership
As a frequent speaker at leadership and organizational development
conferences, Maya is a thought leader and expert on Global Leadership
and Global Workforce Development.
Based on the findings of a multi-year study sponsored by Accenture
Institute for Strategic Change, Maya's book, "Global Leadership:
The Next Generation", systematically identifies what tomorrow's
global leaders will need to know, do, and believe - and shows emerging
leaders how to deepen the skills and values they'll need to succeed
at the highest level.
Through her research, Maya brought to the surface the type of skill
sets that are indispensable for leaders competing in a global marketplace.
"We wanted to create a kind of guidebook for global leaders." Maya
says. "The book examines what tools and skills global leaders need
to have in order to manage their teams across cultures and geographical
boundaries."
She has developed and delivered successful corporate training programs
on the following topics:
Global Leadership: Developing Leaders for Global Success
Building High Performing Global Teams
Leading and Facilitating International Meetings
Negotiating across Borders

Affairs, and Engineering.

Maya states that "the Leadership Resource Guide is an
invaluable tool to help leaders sharpen and develop their leadership
competencies and to align with the organization's values. I believe
that the combination of theory, action, real examples and skill
building tips makes it a perfect resource for anyone who coaches
others, is responsible for designing a leadership development program,
or anyone who simply wants to be a better leader."
The customized Leadership Resource Guides are designed
to fit the organization's vision, values, and its leadership profile.
This complete guide paints an objective and thorough landscape
of best practices, with a wealth of triggers to stimulate productive
thinking and concrete action. It includes thousands of helpful,
practical, immediately usable suggestions on how to develop that
specific behavior.
The Leadership Resources Guide is a useful tool for senior
executives, HR professionals, coaches, supervisors, and individual
contributors. It is a user-friendly aid that helps leaders develop
their personal action plan. Each of the leadership competency areas
is addressed separately in an easy to follow, step-by-step format.
