| CARLEEN MACKAY
THE VOICE OF THE MATURE WORKFORCE
Recruiting, Development and Retention Strategist
on behalf of the American Workplace and Maturing Workforce
Across
the nation, on stage, in print and on behalf of America's smallest or largest firms and the maturing population themselves, Carleen MacKay inspires individuals and organizational leaders to understand the competitive advantages an experienced workforce offers the American workplace. She is one a very few experts in the U.S. whose work life is specialized in this area. Carleen is, as one client refers to her, the "Poster Child for the 50+ Workforce."
When your team, your clients or you need to learn more about the
advantages of hiring, developing and retaining the mature workforce,
her expertise will help you to reach your strategic goal of managing
an increasingly flexible workforce in an increasingly flexible
world.
Highlights of just two of several 2007 nationwide speaking engagements
include:
The Mature Workforce - America's Competitive Advantage. Suitable for executives, professional organizations and nationwide conferences, this is the most widely requested presentation in her portfolio of presentations. Read what just one client has said about her ability to grab and hold an audience's rapt attention:
"Presenting a dynamite program entitled The Mature
Workforce-America's
Competitive Advantage, MacKay delighted and enthralled more than
700 employers, educators, and mature workers who attended the event,
which is sponsored bi-annually by San Diego County's Aging & Independence
Services agency in order to highlight significant areas of concern
for older adults in San Diego County. MacKay mesmerized the audience
with her firm command of solid data delivered with an energetic
style and keen sense of humor." - EW
The New 3R's - Recruiting, Re-development and Retention. This interactive 3-part series is "Hot off the Press." Each learning experience may be presented separately or as a learning series for a broad range of audiences committed to understanding the strategies and tactics recommended for the mature workforce.
This is what her very first client said about the Retention presentation. "I
now believe retention is the best and most affordable recruiting
strategy available to American business. I will use the ideas
and suggestions I received during this experience."
All presentations are suitable for delivery live - in webcasts or through the magic of interactive learning technology.
Customizable presentations and curriculum development for delivery
by your team are also available as are train-the-trainer options.
Carleen is committed to representing Wolf Management with their
clients to ensure that the fast-changing demographics in America
are understood and addressed as part of their business strategies.
She is also retained by Spherion, a leading American recruiting
and staffing firm that places over 375,000 people each year. In
this capacity, she is their subject-matter expert, their representative
to the AARP National Employer's team and the lead developer of mature workforce training materials for their internal staff of recruiters.
Her co-authored book, Boom or Bust, is the first edition of what
is slated to become a frequently updated career management guide
for mature individuals. Customized editions are scheduled to be
published in Canada and Australia as these nations are experiencing
similar challenges and opportunities relative to their own maturing
populations. New books on related subjects are in late stage development
and we will tell you more about these books just before we publish
in late 2007.
