TUGGLE
As an independent consultant, Bill Tuggle's work experience covers
a wide range in the human resource field including the unique combination
of internal and external experience in project management, negotiating,
facilitation, diversity, sexual harassment, EEO/AA, strategic planning
and organization development.
Bill's consulting expertise is in designing, developing and delivering
customized training programs in diversity, sexual harassment, EEO/AA,
facilitation, project management and negotiating. His consulting
practice encompasses partnering, teambuilding, strategic planning
and change management. Organizational assessment and the facilitation
of organizational change are the cornerstones of his work. His workshops
and interventions have enabled organizations to more effectively
utilize the talents of diverse individuals and employee groups for
superior organizational performance. Bill has lead organizations
across the United States and Canada towards a more positive position
in an ever-changing diverse workplace.
His corporate experience includes heading the EEO/AA organization
at Western Electric, Hawthorne Works (AT&T). After several years
with Western Electric, as a senior trainer, Bill joined AT&T's Corporate
Management School of Business. As an internal consultant he headed
the central region, training and certifying instructors and conducting
management courses. He designed, developed and delivered training
programs that are still in use at AT&T and Lucent Technologies today.
His direction and implementation of organization development technology
effected long term positive changes for the organizations he served.
He has presented and consulted to a wide range of Fortune 100 audiences,
organizations and community groups across the country.
Prior to joining Wolf Management Consultants, his clients included
such notable firms and organizations as Bell Laboratories, AT&T,
Motorola, Lucent Technologies, IBM, U.S. Department of Energy, Ford
Motor Company, Ameritech, The Fails Management Institute, CNA and
the law firm of Seyfarth Shaw (specializing in labor and employment
law). His clientele includes the municipalities of the Village of
Matteson, Illinois, Village of Barrington, Illinois and educational
institutions such as Loyola University, the Chicago Historical Society
and the Du Sable Museum of African American History.
Bill designed, developed and delivered the Facilitation Workshop
that is still used in the AT&T and Lucent Technologies training
curriculums today and received the distinction of "Subject Matter
Expert" in the area of Project Management. In addition he is "Master
Trainer" in the area of diversity for Motorola. Throughout his career
in corporate and private practice he has certified and coached new
instructors across the U.S. and Canada. He is certified in Development
Dimensions International (DDI) and has certification pending on
Meyers Briggs. His certifications from Lucent Technologies include:
Facilitation Workshop, Generating Leadership, At Issue Confronting
Sexual Harassment, Equal Employment/Affirmative Action Supervisory
Training, Diversity in the Workplace, Supporting Workplace Diversity,
Leading a Diverse Workforce, Introduction to Project Management,
and Accomplishment through Teamwork, Creating high Performance Teams,
Negotiation to Yes, Managing People & Performance and Communication
Workshops. He is also certified for Facilitation Workshop as well
as a host of other workshops through AT&T. Bill has provided one-on-one
coaching in the areas of diversity, anti-harassment and managing
within the law.
He has spoken and presented at the Chicago Minority Business Development
Council's opportunity fair on building business through building
relationships, Synergy as guest speaker to the AT&T minority employee
symposium for personal and career growth and at Northwestern University,
Kellogg School of Business as a panelist for diversity discussions.
Bill has co-authored and published the following: Ways We Experience
Difference (WWED) - An Inventory of Cultural Diversity, Ways We
Experience Difference Facilitators Guide, and Benchmarking: The
Fundamental Questions - Marketing Management Journal, Vol.2, #3,
and Building Bridges Partnering for Success.
He has served as a consultant and Board Member for the Citizens
School Committee and Board Member for Loyola University's Masters
of Organizational Development Program.
Bill attended Chicago State and Northwestern Universities. He graduated
and received his commission from the United States Army, Artillery
and Missile Officers Academy.
